Graphic Designer - Printing

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Pre-Press Graphic Designer to prepare and optimize artwork files for high-quality print production. The ideal candidate understands printing processes, color management, and technical file preparation to ensure flawless output.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, check, and finalize print-ready files (CMYK conversion, bleed, crop marks, dielines).
• Ensure artwork accuracy before printing (fonts, links, resolution, overprint settings).
• Handle color correction and color separation for various print methods.
• Create and adjust packaging dielines and layouts.
• Coordinate with the production team to resolve technical print issues.
• Conduct pre-flight checks and troubleshoot file errors.
• Maintain organized file structures and production records.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong understanding of print production processes (offset, digital, large format, screen printing, etc.).
• Knowledge of color profiles, Pantone matching, trapping, and imposition.
• Experience preparing files for packaging, labels, or commercial print.
• High attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.

Preferred

• Experience working with printing presses or in a print production environment.
• Knowledge of RIP software and prepress automation tools.
