Job Summary:
The Graphic Designer (Publications & School Communications) will be responsible for designing high-quality coffee table magazines, decade/10-years books, newsletters, and other institutional publications. The role requires prior experience working with schools and the ability to create engaging, age-appropriate, and brand-aligned designs for academic and organizational communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop coffee table magazines, 10-years/decade books, annual reports, and special publications.
- Create and manage school newsletters (monthly/quarterly), including layout, visuals, and print-ready files.
- Work closely with school administration, academic teams, and communications staff to translate educational content into visually engaging designs.
- Ensure consistency of school branding, tone, and visual identity across all publications.
- Design covers, internal layouts, infographics, charts, and visual storytelling elements.
- Prepare and finalize print-ready and digital files, ensuring proper formatting, color correction, and quality control.
- Coordinate with printers and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality production.
- Edit, retouch, and optimize images for school and publication use.
- Maintain organized design files, archives, and version control.
- Support additional school communication materials such as brochures, prospectuses, event publications, and digital newsletters.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with schools or educational institutions.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in publication or editorial design.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Excellent understanding of typography, layout, and print production standards.
