Graphic designer / Retail Sales Associate - immediate few openings

The UPS Store of Brooklyn Park has an immediate opening for a part-time/full time position in Graphic Design/ Customer Service. We are looking for morning hours between 11 AM and 7PM.

A competitive starting wage is offered and will be based upon your skill level. You will perform a variety of tasks at the UPS Store: customer service to include processing shipping transactions, packing shipments, communicating with shipping and print customers, faxing, providing on-demand print and copy service, answering phone calls, design/set-up/print and finish a wide variety of print products including business cards, postcards, banners, etc.

The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, is a self-starter, has strong computer skills, professional appearance, able to work at a fast-pace, must be able to tolerate frequent lifting, and working under pressure to complete tasks and meet deadlines. Previous experience in graphic design using various software design programs including Adobe-based platforms (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) is preferred, not required.

• Strong skill set in Adobe Creative Suite
• Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries
• Continuously practice good listening skills with customers and UPS Store team members, and leadership.
• Take action to learn all product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operate all equipment, software, and devices in an expert fashion and be willing to teach others.
• Previous printing, design and retail experience.
• Willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.
• Able to work 15-40 hours including weekends

Pay: Hourly pay plus monthly bonus incentive
Store Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm
Saturday 9AM - 5PM
Sunday 12 - 4pm

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
