Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, illustration, or a related field, or equivalent, and two (2) years of related graphic design experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the role may be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree.
Job Summary:
Supports the university’s strategic priorities by employing a broad range of creative design skills to inform and engage internal and/or external audiences. This role plays a key part in advancing awareness of UTMB Health and its four mission areas—patient care, research, innovation and education—as well as driving clinical business to UTMB physicians, hospitals, and other health care services. The position will collaborate with internal teams as well as university programs and department stakeholders. Position includes direct communication with target audiences, content creators, and marketing strategists, as well as activities that facilitate communication by the President and other university executives, programs, and departments.
