Role Overview
The Graphic Designer & Video Editor will be responsible for creating visually compelling creatives and videos tailored for multiple social media platforms. The role requires a strong understanding of platform-specific design formats, storytelling through visuals, and hands-on usage of AI tools for creative production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design creative, innovative, and visually engaging graphics for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
- Develop creatives in adherence to platform-specific size, format, and quality guidelines.
- Create short-form and long-form videos for social media campaigns, events, and public awareness initiatives.
- Perform video editing including cutting, transitions, color correction, sound syncing, and formatting.
- Use AI tools for video generation, audio generation, voice extraction, subtitle creation, and automated captioning.
- Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and Project Coordinator to deliver timely creatives.
- Maintain consistency in branding, tone, and visual language across all digital assets.
- Adapt creatives based on feedback from internal teams and government stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in graphic design and video editing for social media platforms.
- Strong understanding of social media creative formats and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with design and video editing tools along with AI-powered creative tools.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables under tight timelines.
- Fluency in Tamil and English for understanding content context and messaging.
