Position Summary

Kashif Iqbal Thalassaemia Care Centre is seeking a highly skilled, creative, and experienced Graphic Designer, Video Editor & Multimedia Content Creator to join our humanitarian team.

This role is ideal for a senior creative professional with strong visual storytelling ability, technical mastery, and experience handling end-to-end content production including design, video editing, photography, camera handling, and on-ground media coverage.

You will directly contribute to awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, patient storytelling, and institutional communication that supports life-saving healthcare work.

Core Responsibilities

Graphic Design (Primary)

Create high-impact, brand-consistent visuals for:

  • Social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, X)
  • Awareness & fundraising campaigns
  • Print materials (posters, banners, brochures, flyers, standees, reports, certificates)
  • Event branding (medical camps, seminars, donor events)
  • Translating complex medical content into simple visual communication
  • Maintaining strict brand consistency (colors, typography, layout systems, logo usage)
  • Organizing design files and maintaining creative archives

Video Editing (Primary)

Produce professional, emotionally engaging videos for:

  • Awareness reels & social media content
  • Fundraising & donor appeal campaigns
  • Patient stories & documentary-style videos
  • Event coverage (medical camps, seminars, conferences)
  • Internal training & institutional presentations

Key tasks include:

  • Narrative-driven editing & timeline structuring
  • Color correction & basic color grading
  • Audio syncing, cleanup, and balancing
  • Emotional pacing & storytelling enhancement
  • Converting raw footage into impactful visual stories
  • Ensuring ethical, brand, and quality standards

Camera Handling, Photography & Field Production

  • DSLR / mirrorless camera operation for photo & video shoots
  • Event coverage (medical camps, seminars, donor visits)
  • On-ground documentary filming & storytelling capture
  • Basic lighting setup (indoor/outdoor shoots)
  • Drone filming (optional but highly preferred)
  • Patient interviews & field documentation with sensitivity

Hosting & On-Camera Presence

  • Act as host or presenter for events when required
  • Conduct interviews (patients, donors, staff)
  • Confident on-camera communication for awareness content
  • Represent organization in selected media productions

Creative Strategy & Collaboration

  • Develop visual storytelling concepts aligned with campaign goals
  • Collaborate with management, marketing, and program teams
  • Provide creative direction for campaigns and media outputs
  • Maintain sensitivity in all patient-related content
  • Continuously improve storytelling effectiveness

Performance Expectations

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Deliver high-quality output with minimal revisions

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven professional experience in graphic design & video editing
  • Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
  • Strong visual storytelling and editing sense
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Ethical understanding of healthcare/humanitarian communication

Audio Production

  • Adobe Audition (Audio cleanup & mixing)
  • Audacity (Basic recording & editing)

Photography & Camera Production

  • Adobe Lightroom Classic
  • Capture One (Optional advanced photography workflow)
  • Camera control software (Canon / Sony / Blackmagic tools)
  • DJI Fly / DJI GO (Drone operations)
  • OBS Studio (Recording & live capture)

Motion Graphics & Animation

  • Adobe After Effects
  • Adobe Animate (Basic 2D animation)
  • Blender (Optional 3D design & animation)
