Graphic Designer/Customer Service

Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing, and design franchise is seeking a candidate for Graphic Designer/Customer Service Representative at the North Versailles, PA Location.

The position involves graphic design, customer service, and some basic print production. Must be proficient in Adobe Suite, have great customer service skills and the ability to work closely with others.

Duties of the Print Shop Graphic Design candidate will include:

• Work with relevant design-related programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Layout and manipulate various projects based on the customer’s needs.
• Review job specifications from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce jobs.
• Working with and preparing PDF files.
• Customer service: assisting and consulting with clients about their projects in person, on the phone, and via email. Handling walk-in requests.
• Handling Cash/Credit Card transactions.
• Creating Quotes in pricing software and follow up on proofs.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Including working on real-world projects for print design. Must understand basic print terms (bleed, crop marks, etc.)
• Have excellent people skills and communication skills. Positive and friendly, not only via email but also in person and over the phone.
• Be able to work independently and be able to multi-task/handle several client jobs at the same time.
• Experience at a print or copy shop is preferred but not required.
• FEDEX Office, UPS Store, and Staples Print Shop experience very helpful!

This position is full-time Monday through Friday.

No nights, weekends, or holidays.

Health Insurance & vacation after 3 months at full time. Paid Holidays.

Compensation is commensurate with the selected candidate's experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
