Graphic Designer/Print Production

Minuteman Press, the world’s largest and top-rated digital print, marketing, and design franchise is seeking a candidate for Graphic Designer/Customer Service.

The position involves graphic design, print production and customer service. Must have strong graphic / layout skills and the ability to learn and grow with our company. Be able to create new designs and concepts to meet customer requirements.

This may include any of the following design requirements: Company rebranding logos, business cards, business stationary, forms, banners, and window graphic design.

Duties of the Print Shop Graphic Design candidate will include:

• Work with relevant design related programs, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Manage projects that involve a wide range of high-quality printing and communication services.
• Preparing and checking pdf files for print production.
• Review job specification from work orders and ensure that client files are accurate to produce jobs.
• Develop and maintain client library files/file handling.
• Responsible for the use of digital copiers/presses to setup and produce customer jobs.
• Operate copiers/printers and finish materials. Includes cutting flyers/business cards, processing mailers, binding books, folding brochures, padding notepads, etc.
• Working with and preparing PDF files.
• Customer service: assisting and consulting with clients about their projects in person, on the phone and via email.
• Maintain an orderly work area.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Have excellent people skills and communication skills. Positive and friendly.
• Be able to work independently and be able to multi-task/handle several client jobs at the same time.
• Experience at a print or copy shop is preferred but not required.

18.00 per hour when fully qualified on all equipment!

Monday - Friday. No nights, weekends, or holidays.
