Graphic Designer/Production Artist

Frankenmuth Printing is a small, women-owned commercial printing and promotional products company, and we’re growing! We’re on the hunt for a talented and creative Production Artist / Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who loves to bring ideas to life through print and digital media, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about delivering high-quality design work that makes an impact.

From business cards to banners, websites to wide-format signage—no two days are the same. We work closely with a wide range of organizations including nonprofits, schools, municipalities, local businesses, and more. If you have a knack for Adobe Creative Suite, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for creativity, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our design team and project managers to bring client visions to life
• Create print-ready layouts for advertising, signage, packaging, marketing materials, apparel, and more
• Assist with digital design including websites (especially WordPress), social media graphics, and promotional content
• Prep and finalize artwork files for printing across multiple production platforms
• Ensure all designs follow brand guidelines and client specifications
• Make revisions based on team and client feedback with speed and accuracy
• Stay up to date on design trends, production techniques, and tools
• Assist in production printing and signage setup when needed
• Take part in creative brainstorming sessions to contribute new ideas and design solutions

Experience & Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat required)
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, color theory, and pre-press setup
• Familiarity with sign manufacturing and print production is a major plus
• Experience with WordPress and website content layout is preferred
• A portfolio showcasing a variety of work in both print and digital mediums
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Detail-oriented with a can-do attitude and collaborative spirit
