Graphic Designer/Production Artist

Job Summary

OSS Apparel is seeking a Graphic Designer/Production Artist to join our growing team in East Providence, RI. This full-time, on-site role focuses on creating and preparing artwork for custom apparel, embroidery, screen printing, heat press applications, and promotional products.

We serve customers throughout Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts, and New England, including Providence, East Providence, Cranston, Warwick, Pawtucket, Seekonk, Attleboro, Fall River, and surrounding communities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and experienced in preparing production-ready artwork for apparel decoration and promotional products.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify customer artwork for custom apparel and promotional products
• Prepare vector artwork for screen printing, embroidery, and heat press production
• Work with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create production-ready files
• Review customer logos and graphics for print quality and production requirements
• Collaborate with sales and production teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Maintain design file organization and production standards
• Create digital mockups and customer proofs for approval
• Support branding, team apparel, school apparel, and business apparel projects

Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of vector artwork and print production
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of screen printing, embroidery, promotional products, or apparel decoration is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
