Graphic Designer / Production Artist

Same Day Awards is looking for a creative, organized, and customer-focused Graphic Designer / Production Artist to join our team! If you enjoy design, communicating with customers, and bringing ideas to life, this could be the perfect role for you.

In this position, you will play a key role in helping customers create personalized awards, plaques, trophies, signage, and engraved products. You’ll work closely with customers to create and revise proofs, ensure artwork meets production standards, and help guide orders from concept to completion.

We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable balancing creativity with customer communication in a fast-paced environment.

This is an in on-site role!

What You’ll Do:

• Create customer proofs and artwork for website and custom orders
• Modify and revise designs based on customer feedback and requests
• Email back and forth with customers regarding proofs, revisions, artwork approvals, and order details
• Ensure artwork files meet production and engraving standards
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate order execution
• Answer phones and assist customers with questions as needed
• Respond to live chat inquiries professionally and efficiently
• Help customers select products, layouts, fonts, and customization options
• Maintain organized files and documentation for customer orders
• Assist with additional design or production-related projects as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong graphic design skills with a creative eye for detail
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working directly with customers and managing revisions professionally
• Highly organized with strong time management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Tech-savvy and adaptable to learning new systems and software
• Able to work independently while collaborating with a team

Bonus Skills (Not Required):

• Experience with engraving, signage, awards, trophies, or print production
• Experience preparing artwork for production
• Customer service or retail experience

Education & Experience:

· High School Diploma or GED
