Graphic Production Specialist

Biller Press & Manufacturing is seeking a detail-oriented Graphic Production Specialist to join our growing print team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both graphic layout work, customer interaction and wants to play a key role in producing high-quality print.

Success in this role requires equal parts graphic skills, problem-solving, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate enjoys figuring out how a project will be produced, not just how it will look on a screen.

This is not a remote design position. We are looking for someone who understands how artwork becomes a finished printed piece and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up files in Adobe Illustrator , InDesign, and Acrobat
• Create and layout artboards, bleeds, margins, and crop marks
• Measure and verify finished sizes, folds, & trim dimensions
• Prepare proofs for customer approval
• Perform file corrections & layout adjustments
• Build simple marketing pieces, forms, flyers, postcards, and booklets
• Coordinate with production staff to ensure jobs move smoothly through the shop
• Answer phones and provide office support as needed
• Serve as backup to the Office Manager

Qualifications

• Possesses a “measure twice, cut once” attention to detail and takes personal ownership of accuracy before work reaches production.
• Carefully verifies measurements, bleeds, folds, trim sizes, and specifications to ensure jobs are produced efficiently & correctly the first time.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Acrobat
• Strong understanding of measurements, page setup, and print layouts
• Working knowledge of bleeds, margins, trim sizes, safe areas, and imposition concepts
• Ability to accurately measure printed samples and verify specifications
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience in commercial printing, direct mail, or graphic production a plus

Preferred Experience

• Commercial printing environment
• Digital & offset print production

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. We offer a stable work environment, modern equipment, and the opportunity to grow with a locally owned company that has served the region for decades.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
