The Florida Chamber of Commerce is seeking a data-driven, creative Grassroots Marketing Manager to build and run segmented marketing and mobilization campaigns that turn advocacy priorities into measurable membership results. This role powers the Grassroots Action & Information Network (GAIN) and connects issues Florida businesses care about with targeted audiences (“buckets”) to drive event registrations, leads, upgrades, and renewals. The Manager partners closely with Investor Services on revenue and events and supports our Government Affairs and Political Affairs teams with action alerts, voter education content, and campaign reporting.
Job Duties:
Plan and execute segmented membership marketing campaigns tied to advocacy/policy priorities that produce registrations, upgrades, and renewals.

· Lead GAIN cadence: send quarterly issue communications across channels (email, webinars, videos, BoG/BoD touchpoints, Friday Five) for every monetizable/FBA issue.
· Coordinate Action Alerts and grassroots mobilization (petitions, pledges, phone trees) in support of GA/Political Affairs; deliver an average of 100+ responses per priority issue.
· Build and maintain audience bucket segmentation (issue, industry/NAICS, role, region); manage list hygiene and tagging in CRM/advocacy tools.
· Produce a weekly Advocacy → Membership ROI dashboard (alert responses, conversions to event registrations and renewals, network growth).
· Utilize and expand Florida Wins content and microsite elements; tie storytelling to membership ROI and execute at least one special issue funding campaign annually.
· Provide Investor Services with monthly prospect lists sourced from grassroots engagement; align campaigns with revenue targets and event timelines.
· Support election and voter education efforts (registration pushes, guides, candidate content) in collaboration with Florida Wins.
· Maintain Action Alert tracking and project pre-brief/debrief processes; continuously optimize based on performance.
· Train internal partners on advocacy tools (e.g., VoterVoice/BiPac/CQ) and best practices.
In addition to being trustworthy, integrity-filled, and results-oriented, the ideal candidate will possess:
· 3–5 years in marketing/communications, grassroots/advocacy, or association/chamber roles.
· Demonstrated success running segmented campaigns that deliver registrations, leads, renewals.
· Hands-on experience with a CRM (WebLink preferred) and an advocacy platform (VoterVoice/BiPac/CQ).
· Strong analytics skills (dashboards, attribution, A/B testing) and excellent writing/editing.
· Bonus: basic Canva/Adobe, Constant Contact/HubSpot (or similar), Google Analytics; Power BI/Tableau preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications/Political Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
