Greenskeeper

This position requires early mornings and every other weekend. Additional weekends may be required based on tournament schedule and course needs. Schedule is Monday thru Friday from 5:30/6:00 AM to 1:30/2:00 PM & every other weekend from 5:30/6:00 AM to 9:30/10:00 AM. There may be times we start as early as 4:00AM. This is a full time year-round position.

Responsibilities:

• The Groundskeeper reports to the Superintendent and is responsible for performing work related to the care and maintenance of the golf course and grounds
• Operate basic equipment to maintain and groom grounds, perform routine maintenance and clean equipment daily
• Perform landscaping duties to ensure course landscaping is healthy and attractive; water, fertilize, edge, rake, weed, etc.
• Perform routine golf course operations activities; set tee markers and cups, maintain ball washes, replace tee towels and flags, remove trash and debris, mark hazard and drop areas, etc
• Assist with cart control; mark course, move cart barriers, maintain ropes and signs, etc
• Assist with course improvement projects; construction of new greens, tees, and fairways, preparing and seeding soil, constructing walkways and paths, etc
• Use riding lawn mowers to cut turf areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Applicants possess the ability to lift up to 50lbs. and work in adverse weather conditions.
