Responsibilities

  • Prepare and grill meats, seafood, and vegetables according to menu specifications.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grill and kitchen area at all times.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures in compliance with UAE regulations.
  • Assist in food preparation, storage, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
  • Monitor grill equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Support the Head Chef in menu development and daily kitchen operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Grill Chef, Line Cook, or similar role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and different cuts of meat.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and food presentation.
  • Understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Duty Hours: 9 hours per day (including meal break) as per UAE Labor Law.
  • Accommodation: Provided (shared or single, depending on designation).
  • Transport: Not required – workplace is within walking distance from accommodation.
  • Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
  • Location: Bahia, Abu Dhabi.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
