Responsibilities
- Prepare and grill meats, seafood, and vegetables according to menu specifications.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the grill and kitchen area at all times.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Assist in food preparation, storage, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Monitor grill equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Support the Head Chef in menu development and daily kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Grill Chef, Line Cook, or similar role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of grilling techniques and different cuts of meat.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and food presentation.
- Understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent preferred.
Working Conditions
- Duty Hours: 9 hours per day (including meal break) as per UAE Labor Law.
- Accommodation: Provided (shared or single, depending on designation).
- Transport: Not required – workplace is within walking distance from accommodation.
- Nationality: Open to all nationalities.
- Location: Bahia, Abu Dhabi.
