WHAT YOU'LL DO
Food Preparation & Service
- Prepare and cook menu items according to INDAY recipes and standards
- Execute service line cooking quickly and accurately during peak hours
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portioning throughout the shift
- Support prep work as needed to ensure smooth service
Station Ownership
- Set up, stock, and break down your station each shift
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work areas
- Minimize waste and follow FIFO and proper storage procedures
Food Safety & Compliance
- Follow all DOH, sanitation, and food safety guidelines
- Maintain proper temperatures, labeling, and rotation
- Communicate any equipment or safety issues to leadership immediately
Teamwork
- Support other BOH team members as needed
- Communicate clearly during service to keep the line moving
- Participate in trainings and recipe calibrations
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ year experience as a cook or line cook in a fast casual or high-volume restaurant preferred
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work 6–8 hour shifts
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Food Safety or DOH certificate a plus
