Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Shawarma Maker to join our team. The Shawarma Maker will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving delicious shawarma dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate should have experience working with shawarma grills, an understanding of traditional preparation methods, and a commitment to maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and marinate meats (chicken, beef, lamb, etc.) according to shawarma recipes and standards.
  • Operate and maintain the shawarma grill, ensuring it runs efficiently and safely.
  • Slice cooked shawarma meat and assemble it with the proper toppings and sauces in wraps or plates.
  • Ensure consistent quality and taste by following portion control and preparation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cooking area, including grilling stations, prep counters, and storage areas.
  • Prepare and chop vegetables, salads, and garnishes to accompany shawarma dishes.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring all food is stored and handled properly.
  • Handle customer orders promptly and prepare shawarma plates and wraps as per order specifications.
  • Monitor inventory levels of shawarma ingredients and inform supervisors when restocking is needed.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are cleaned and sanitized after use.
  • Assist with other kitchen duties as needed, such as preparing side dishes or cleaning.
  • Stay up-to-date with food trends and ensure that shawarma offerings are innovative and appealing.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (culinary training is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in making shawarma or similar grilled meats in a professional kitchen.
  • Proven experience with shawarma preparation, grilling, and slicing.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple orders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality food preparation.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work long hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
  • Passion for Middle Eastern cuisine and excellent customer service.

12 hours duty( 1 hour break

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
