Job Title: Grill Staff / Grill Cook
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, energetic Grill Staff member to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food on the grill to ensure high quality and timely service. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, follow food safety standards, and maintain cleanliness at your station.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and grill menu items according to recipes and company standards
- Ensure all grilled food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented well
- Operate and maintain grill equipment and tools safely and efficiently
- Monitor food stock levels and inform supervisors when inventory is low
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the grill station and surrounding areas
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
- Work as part of a team to support kitchen operations during peak times
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a grill cook or in a similar kitchen role (preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of grilling techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Good time management and multitasking skills
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required
