Grindstone Charley's is an American restaurant and bar serving scratch-made, high-quality food and drinks. Established in 1982, we pride ourselves on home-style cooking with recipes passed down through generations. We promise flavorful food, spirited drinks, and a good seat at the table.

Who You Are

As a Server, you are responsible for creating memorable dining experiences filled with hospitality, exceptional service, and delicious food and beverages. You are the backbone of the Service team, accountable for the sale and service of all menu items while providing guests with warm, attentive care and leadership on the floor.

What You’ll Do

• Demonstrate expertise in all food and beverage menu items, with a strong knowledge of ingredients and preparation.
• Follow steps of service consistently, maintaining efficiency, grace, and a sense of urgency throughout service.
• Anticipate guest needs while communicating effectively with colleagues, management, and the kitchen during service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant before, during, and after service.
• Demonstrate a passion for service and hospitality with an eagerness to learn and grow.

What We Need From You

• 1+ year of experience in a guest-facing restaurant role.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Ability to balance and carry multiple plates, glass racks, or glasses, and lift objects up to 30 lbs.
