Ground Safety Officer (Emirati Talent)

The Ground Safety Officer supports leadership on ground safety matters and contributes to the effective implementation of safety programs. The role involves coordination with key stakeholders, maintaining safety information, and providing insights to support safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a principal advisor on all ground safety matters
• Support the development and implementation of the Ground Safety Program and Safety Management System (SMS)
• Identify hazards and risks associated with daily ground operations
• Investigate ground incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions
• Maintain safety records, reports, and statistics
• Promote safety awareness, training, and a Just Safety Culture
• Coordinate with internal teams and customer safety representatives

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or a related aviation discipline
• Certification from a recognized Aviation Safety Course; Accident Avoidance Training; Composite Risk Management (CRM) Training; and Hazardous Materials Training.
• 5+ years of military aviation safety experience or 10+ years of civilian aviation safety experience
• Experience in military aviation safety or high-risk materials environments is a plus
• Open to Emirati Nationals only
• Role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE
