General Purpose of Job:
The GSE Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for oversight, scheduling and upholding Avflight standards regarding maintaining, inspecting, and repairs on various types of mechanical equipment and facilities.
Duties:

Oversee companywide weekly GSE report – work with GM’s/Maintenance staff across the network to ensure completion, compliance, and safe operation of equipment

Manage the inspection, maintain, and manage the repair of ground services equipment used in support of Avflight and/or customer operations.

Supervise the basic diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures using test equipment, applicable manuals, and industry resources
-
Ensure completion of all scheduled GSE preventative maintenance for Avflight and/or contracted customers equipment.

Manage and administer parts ordering, GSE billable/non-billable labor hours, customer invoicing and customer maintenance tracking/invoicing portals

Correspond with customers regarding various equipment and invoicing matters

Regularly interact with customers to promote the maintenance department and to measure the level of customer satisfaction. Use customer feedback to constantly develop and improve capabilities and processes.

Ability to continue improving Avflight maintenance processes.

Must be willing to occasionally perform other duties not associated with maintenance, such as aircraft fueling, deicing, airline/charter ground operations, snow plowing, light building maintenance and cargo loading and unloading.

Ability to operate a forklift

Ability to complete and maintain Fuel Safety Supervisor Qualifications IAW 14 CFR Part 139.321 (b)(1) through (b)(6) and 139.321 to include hands-on fire extinguisher training.

Ability to identify and prevent fuel/oil spills. Ensure all are cleaned up by company guidelines

Establish a culture within the department that promotes safety through daily observation, shift briefings, routine audits, monthly safety meeting attendance, training and documented safety procedures.

Assist in asset acquisition and transfers as needed

Perform other duties as assigned
Other Qualifications:
- Must have at least 3 years of Equipment maintenance experience
-
Must have at least 1 years of Supervisory experience
-
Excellent Communication skills – both verbal and written
-
Working knowledge of gas or diesel engines, along with applicable transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.

Ability to read maintenance related diagrams and/or plans
-
Ability to work within Avflight owned maintenance software
-
Ability to work under pressure
-
Deice experience a plus

Must have own tools

Must be 18 years or older and have a High School diploma or GED equivalent,
-
Aviation equipment experience a plus
-
Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test, have valid Driver's license with a good driving record within company standards

Must have authorization to work in the U.S
Work Environment: Airport environment: Indoors and Outdoors. Extreme outdoor conditions where extreme temperature ranges may be encountered. Elevated noise levels periodically.
