Groundskeeper / Grounds Maintenance Technician

Our Opportunity

Summit Management is a locally owned and operated property management company based in Minnesota. We are currently hiring a full-time Groundskeeper to help maintain and care for our residential communities in Duluth, MN.

This role is essential to keeping our properties safe, clean, and looking their best year-round.

THIS POSITION IS AN EVENING AND WEEKEND HOURS.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform daily grounds upkeep across multiple residential properties
• Lawn care including mowing, trimming, edging, and general landscaping
• Pruning shrubs, trees, and maintaining planting beds
• Basic irrigation system repairs and monitoring
• Snow removal, shoveling, and winter property maintenance
• Assist with seasonal projects and other tasks as needed to maintain curb appeal and safety

Requirements:

• Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance
• Experience operating zero-turn and commercial walk-behind mowers (required)
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions year-round
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred(Not Required) :

• Experience with skid steers or other heavy equipment
• Equipment maintenance or small engine repair experience
• Fertilizer application, hardscapes, or tree care experience

Schedule & Pay :

• Full-time position (M-F 8AM-4:30PM)
• Pay range: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience

OUR OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a bright, talented, self-motivated, Apartment Leasing Consultant who would enjoy the small office setting at a luxury rental property in Duluth. The main responsibilities include leasing and maintaining positive resident relations of multi-family residential apartments.

The ideal candidate will have a college education and previous experience within the real estate field as a leasing consultant. Must be friendly, professional and have excellent customer service skills. Candidate to be computer-literate, and proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong verbal and written skills are a must.
