Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to sustain healthy and attractive grounds
• Operate power tools and hand tools safely to carry out landscaping projects and routine upkeep
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Conduct lawn care activities such as fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote lush greenery
• Maintain gardens by planting new flora, mulching beds, and removing debris or pests effectively
• Carry out general maintenance tasks on outdoor facilities, pathways, fences, and equipment to ensure safety and functionality
• Assist with seasonal clean-up activities and support landscaping projects that improve the overall appearance of the grounds

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture preferred
• Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscaping best practices
• Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, mowers, and other gardening equipment safely
• Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and outdoor maintenance
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to grounds upkeep
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation is a plus
