Grounds Maintenance Associate

Job Summary

The Grounds Maintenance Associate supports the daily upkeep of the resort by maintaining outdoor areas, landscaping, and common spaces. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, this role helps ensure the property remains clean, safe, and guest-ready.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain common spaces through planting, mulching, and general outdoor upkeep
  • Perform routine property maintenance, debris removal, trash collection, and minor repairs
  • Operate landscaping tools and equipment including blowers, trimmers, drills, and other power tools
  • Monitor irrigation systems and report or address basic issues as needed
  • Remove storm debris, fallen branches, and other outdoor hazards
  • Keep roadways, guest areas, and resort grounds clean and presentable
  • Identify maintenance or safety concerns and communicate them to management
  • Follow all company safety guidelines and operating procedures
  • Assist with additional property projects and operational tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous maintenance or groundskeeping experience preferred
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Experience using landscaping equipment and hand tools
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexible availability including nights, weekends and holidays
