Responsibilities

• Perform lawn care tasks including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure healthy and attractive turf.
• Maintain landscape features such as planting beds, shrubs, trees, and flower displays through pruning, trimming, and planting.
• Operate hand tools and power equipment such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and excavators safely and efficiently.
• Conduct landscape maintenance activities including irrigation system installation and repair, hardscape upkeep, and gardening projects.
• Assist with snow plowing and removal during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible.
• Support construction projects related to landscape improvements or hardscape installations using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and landscape features to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience in operating landscaping or construction equipment such as excavators and power tools.
• Knowledge of lawn care practices, landscape maintenance techniques, horticulture principles, and tree care methods.
• Experience with gardening tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and soil preparation.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely; familiarity with power tools is preferred.
• Strong understanding of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting.
• Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy objects is essential.
• Prior experience in snow plowing or hardscape work is a plus but not required. Pay: From $19.00 per hour
