We’re looking for a dependable and experienced Grounds Maintenance Worker who takes pride in creating well-kept environments and thrives working both independently and as part of a team.

What You’ll Do

With supervision, you’ll perform essential grounds maintenance tasks to meet contract standards and schedules, including:

• Mowing and maintaining all improved grounds to a well-manicured appearance
• Edging sidewalks, driveways, curbs, and other hard surfaces
• Trimming areas inaccessible to mowing equipment
• Removing litter and natural debris through routine grounds policing
• Maintaining desert landscaping in a clean and orderly condition
• Providing effective weed control
• Completing special projects as assigned by your supervisor

What You Bring

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in grounds maintenance
• Experience with irrigation systems, tractors, and mowing equipment
• Valid Driver’s License (driving required)

Background & Screening Requirements

• Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusions Check
• Driving Record (MVR) Review
• Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Security Clearance
• General Background Check
  (FBI Top Secret Clearance and NM Department of Health Fingerprinting are not required for this role.)
