What you’ll be doing:

• Ensures equipment is serviced and cleaned as needed.
• Maintain irrigation systems.
• Supervise both the mowing crew and the landscaping crew.
• Help as needed on both crews.
• Coordinate fertilizing of yards.
• Setting up for events as needed.
• Maintaining ponds.
• Leading snow removal from parking lots and sidewalks.

Skills you’ll bring along:

• Mowing experience with everything from zero-turn and push mowers to string and hedge trimmers
• Ability to read and follow schematics/prints for equipment and buildings
• Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Possess a valid driver's license with good driving record
• Be able to work independently with little supervision
• Possess good communication skills
• Remodeling/construction experience a plus

Job Type

Full time

• -Hours, 7:00am-4pm five days per week, plus being in an “on-call” rotation with the grounds crew for snow and campus events.
