Groundskeeper

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper / Property Maintenance Associate to help maintain and improve the appearance and functionality of multiple commercial properties. This role involves traveling between sites, performing daily inspections, and completing basic maintenance and repair tasks.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, enjoys being outdoors, and is motivated to grow within a fast-paced real estate and property management company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Travel between multiple commercial properties daily to ensure grounds and exterior areas are clean and well-maintained
• Pick up trash and debris around buildings, parking lots, and landscaped areas
• Perform basic maintenance repairs, such as changing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, and addressing minor tenant requests
• Inspect and maintain landscaping and sprinkler systems to ensure proper operation
• Assist with landscaping projects, including planting flowers, trimming shrubs, and maintaining entry areas
• Perform power washing, exterior painting, and minor surface repairs as needed
• Conduct professional carpet cleaning and assist with light janitorial work when required
• Report larger maintenance issues to the Facility Manager or Property Manager
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle in clean, working condition
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with tenants and vendors

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of experience in groundskeeping, building maintenance, or related field (commercial experience preferred)
• Ability to perform physical labor and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, landscaping equipment, and maintenance repair methods
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions, manage time efficiently, and communicate clearly

Preferred Skills (a plus):

• Experience with commercial properties or multi-building portfolios
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, power washing, or painting
• Basic understanding of HVAC filters, electrical, or plumbing repairs

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $14.84 - $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
