Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our facilities and manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing environments, and residential painting. This role requires leadership qualities and the ability to supervise maintenance activities, ensuring safety and efficiency across operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and CMMS software.
• Repair or replace faulty components, including welding repairs and electrical wiring.
• Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor and control machinery functions.
• Conduct residential painting as needed for facility upkeep or improvement projects.
• Supervise maintenance staff or contractors during repair or installation tasks, providing guidance and ensuring safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders within CMMS systems.
• Assist in facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC, or structural repairs.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols during all maintenance activities.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal departments by promptly addressing maintenance requests.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong electrical experience, including working with schematics, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Mechanical knowledge with proficiency in welding, use of ohmmeters, and understanding of mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and CMMS software is preferred.
• Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership in managing maintenance teams or projects.
• Experience in residential painting or related trades is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills in English are required for effective team coordination and documentation.
• Prior experience with customer service orientation is beneficial for supporting internal clients effectively. Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
