Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering efficiency for all landscaped areas
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and fertilizing to keep outdoor spaces pristine
• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to carry out gardening and landscaping projects
• Conduct regular lawn care routines such as aeration, overseeding, and pest control to promote healthy turf growth
• Assist with planting new greenery, shrubs, flowers, and trees while adhering to horticultural best practices
• Maintain equipment and tools through routine cleaning, inspection, and minor repairs to ensure safety and longevity
• Support overall land management efforts by performing gardening tasks that enhance the aesthetic appeal of the property

Qualifications

• Proven experience in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture with a strong understanding of land maintenance practices
• Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is highly desirable
• Ability to operate hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes as well as power tools including trimmers and blowers safely
• Familiarity with lawn care techniques like mowing, fertilizing, aerating, and pest management
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining landscape health and appearance
• Valid driver’s license preferred; ability to operate small equipment or machinery is a plus
