We are seeking a motivated candidate to fill a full-time groundskeeper position to care for multiple Lancaster County properties. Job responsibilities include mowing, trimming, weeding, mulching, pruning, and all other general landscaping needs. Fall and winter seasons will also require leaf, snow, and ice removal. Management evaluates employee performance on an annual basis and offers bonus payouts to eligible employees. Working hours M-F, 24-30 hours a week and occasional weekends weather related. Snow removal is mandatory

Candidate expected to safely operate lawn care equipment and tools to mow, trim, weed, mulch, prune, and complete various other landscaping requirements.

Candidate expected to safely operate plow truck, snow blower, and hand tools to remove snow and ice.

Vehicle will be provided during working hours.

Equipment and tools will be provided.

Candidate may have to flex working hours to complete tasks around weather conditions.

Pull/Backup landscape trailers with company vehicle.

Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.

Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.

Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.

Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Two years of groundskeeping experience desired.

Must be able to safely operate lawn care and snow removal equipment.
