Job Description:

The Maintenance Department is looking for a Grounds and Maintenance Summer Helper to join our team. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance and will be responsible for maintaining campus grounds, including general upkeep. This role also includes assisting the grounds and maintenance staff with various projects and repairs throughout our campus buildings and outdoor areas.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Grounds crew by trimming the campus grounds

· Assist the Grounds and Maintenance Crews with summer projects and repairs.

· Assist maintenance as needed with building repairs such as painting, changing filters, light bulbs, smoke detectors, window blinds, etc.

· This position can cover multiple trades including Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Painting and Landscaping.

· All other duties assigned

Requirements:

· Must be at least 16 years of age, and have reliable transportation

· Knowledge and use of general hand tools is desired

· Dependable and reliable with a good work ethic, pride in your work and a desire to learn.

· Must be able to work outside in the summer heat

· Ideal for high school or college students looking for summer work

· Winter break work may be available for college students.

· Must have a clean record and be able to pass a federal background check.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
$15.00 per hour | 36-40 hours per week | Monday to Friday | May/June – Late August
