Job Title: Group Finance Controller
Category
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, perform variance analysis, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
ERP Implementation and Management
- Lead the implementation of the ERP software system within the company to streamline financial operations and enhance reporting capabilities.
- Serve as the project manager for the ERP implementation project, coordinating with IT, external consultants, and various department heads.
- Develop and oversee training programs for Accounts Department staff and other users.
- Manage the migration of current financial data into the ERP system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Continuously assess and optimize the ERP setup to align with evolving business needs.
- Ensure ERP systems comply with all regulatory financial guidelines and company policies.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to align with strategic objectives.
- Monitor budget variances and provide financial forecasts for management decision-making.
Internal Controls and Compliance
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to ensure financial transaction integrity.
- Ensure compliance with government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Cash Flow Management
- Manage the Group's cash flow planning process and ensure fund availability.
- Oversee cash, investment, and asset management.
Operational Support
- Work closely with property managers and leasing departments to align financial strategies with operations.
- Provide financial insights to support contract negotiations and decisions.
Audit and Risk Management
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and prepare required materials.
- Assess and manage financial risks related to real estate, hotel, and restaurant portfolios.
Leadership and Team Management
- Supervise the accounts team, set goals, perform evaluations, and develop staff.
- Foster a culture of financial awareness and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Master’s degree or professional qualification preferred.
Experience
- 20 years of experience, including 10 years as a Financial Controller or Director of Accounts in real estate & hospitality.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of IFRS and other applicable standards.
- Proficiency in financial software (SAP & Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
