The Opportunity
We are seeking a GROUP HR MANAGER who is not just a functional expert but a strategic collaborator. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in:
- Strengthening HR processes and building a high-performance culture across diverse businesses.
- Strategically planning and aligning the people function with the business growth objectives.
- Working closely with leadership to evaluate current teams, address gaps, and build a robust talent pipeline for future expansion.
- Leading recruitment efforts end-to-end across all businesses – from store staffing to senior management hiring.
- Driving initiatives for training, employee engagement, performance management, and retention.
- Setting up strong HR systems, SOPs, and technology platforms where necessary to enhance efficiency.
- Playing an active role in employer branding as we grow across sectors.
- Helping to develop a framework for CSR initiatives under the Arthniti Foundation.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Talent Acquisition
- Creating job descriptions
- Sourcing and screening candidates
- Coordinating interviews
- Managing offers and onboarding new employees
Employee Onboarding and Training
- Designing onboarding programs
- Helping new employees settle in
- Organizing training and development programs
Employee Relations
- Maintaining a positive work environment
- Handling grievances, conflicts, and disputes
- Ensuring clear communication between employees and management
Performance Management
- Setting up appraisal systems
- Supporting managers in performance reviews
- Assisting employees in goal-setting and career growth
Compensation and Benefits Management
- Designing salary structures
- Managing bonuses, incentives, and benefits (like insurance, leave, etc.)
Compliance and Legal
- Ensuring adherence to labour laws and employment standards
- Handling contracts, policies, and other HR documentation
- Managing audits and employee records properly
Policy Development and Enforcement
- Creating HR policies (leave, work hours, remote work, etc.)
- Communicating and enforcing these policies consistently
Culture and Engagement
- Promoting company culture
- Organizing employee engagement activities
- Conducting employee satisfaction surveys and acting on feedback
Exit Management
- Conducting exit interviews
- Managing resignations, terminations, and retirements
- Facilitating smooth transitions
Strategic HR Planning
- Workforce planning based on company goals
- Helping leadership with organizational development
- Leading change management initiatives when necessary
Candidate Profile
We are looking for someone who brings a blend of operational excellence and strategic thinking.
Key Attributes:
- 6–12 years of experience in HR roles, preferably with exposure to mid-sized, growing organizations.
- Experience working with multi-business group structures or diverse sectors would be a significant advantage.
- Strong expertise in recruitment, employee relations, learning & development, and organization design.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and excited to work in entrepreneurial environments with ambitious growth plans.
- High levels of ownership, ability to independently drive projects, and collaborate across multiple teams.
- Comfort with fast-paced environments and businesses in scale-up mode.
Educational Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent from a reputed institute.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
