As we scale our operations and enter new markets, we are looking for a visionary Strategy & Expansion Lead to bridge the gap between our high-level corporate vision and on-the-ground execution.

The Role

We are seeking a tech-savvy strategist with a strong background in project management to drive PetroApp’s growth initiatives. In this role, you will be the architect of our expansion roadmap, responsible for identifying new market opportunities, aligning cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Ops), and ensuring our daily execution matches our long-term strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Alignment: Lead the annual and quarterly strategic planning cycles. Translate PetroApp’s corporate vision into actionable goals (OKRs) and ensure strict strategic alignment across all business units.
  • Market Expansion: Spearhead the end-to-end process of entering new geographic markets or launching new business verticals. Conduct feasibility studies, competitive analysis, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Project Management (PMO): Drive critical strategic initiatives from inception to delivery. Utilize project management methodologies to manage timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations for high-stakes projects.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Act as the connective tissue between the Technical/Product teams and the Commercial/Operational teams to ensure product roadmaps support business expansion targets.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and market trends to recommend pivots or accelerations in strategy.
  • Operational Excellence: Identify bottlenecks in our scaling process and implement structural improvements to enhance organizational agility.

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in Strategy, Management Consulting, or Strategic Project Management roles.
  • Industry Background: A strong background in the Technology, SaaS, or FinTech sectors is a must. You must understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how tech products scale.
  • Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional projects. PMP, Prince2, or Agile certifications are a strong plus.
  • Strategic Alignment: Proven track record of implementing frameworks like OKRs or Balanced Scorecards to align diverse teams toward a unified goal.
  • Analytical Mindset: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Communication: Superior presentation and communication skills, capable of influencing C-level executives and technical teams alike.
