Group Vice President – Total Rewards

Job Purpose

Supports the global execution, governance, and operational delivery of DP World’s Total Rewards frameworks across all regions.

Responsible for managing the end-to-end total rewards cycle, HR cost controlling, and compensation structures, ensuring consistent and effective implementation of Total Rewards strategy across over 80 countries. Drives alignment, governance, and operational excellence across the Group, supporting business performance, internal equity, and market competitiveness.

Acts as an extension of the Group SVP – Total Rewards for expertise and coordination of Total Rewards matters, translating strategic direction into scalable, controlled, and high-impact programmes across the organisation.


Key Accountabilities

Global Total Rewards Cycle Leadership

Lead governance and execution of the Group Total Rewards cycle.

  • Leads the annual salary review and bonus processes across the Group

  • Establish timelines, governance checkpoints, and approval frameworks

  • Review and challenge regional submissions to ensure alignment with Group guidelines

  • Ensure consistent application of pay-for-performance principles

  • Consolidate outputs and provide insights to support decision-making at Group level

HR Cost Governance & Workforce Cost Control

Have oversight on workforce-related costs from a Total Rewards perspective, ensuring alignment with Group financial objectives and strategic priorities.

  • Lead the payroll budgeting exercise for CHO, Global Logistics, Group Technology, and other operating entities.

  • Provide visibility and analysis on workforce cost trends, including salary movements, merit increases, and structural cost implications

  • Partner with Finance and HR leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost planning processes

  • Ensure Total Rewards decisions (e.g. salary reviews, structural changes) are aligned with approved budgets and cost guidelines

  • Identify risks and opportunities related to workforce costs, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making

  • Drive discipline and consistency in cost management across regions through governance frameworks and review processes

  • Support evaluation of cost implications for organisational changes, transformation initiatives, and workforce planning

Reward Governance & Framework Implementation

Drive the implementation and ongoing governance of Group-wide Total Rewards frameworks.

  • Translate Total Rewards strategy into clear frameworks, processes, and operational models

  • Ensure consistent application across regions while enabling appropriate flexibility

  • Establish and maintain governance mechanisms to ensure compliance

  • Act as a first escalation point for complex Total Rewards matters

Change, Integration & Strategic Initiatives

  • Support Total Rewards workstreams related to mergers, acquisitions, and organisational restructuring, including due diligence, impact assessment, and integration of Total Rewards frameworks

  • Lead the implementation of Group Total Rewards initiatives (e.g. structural changes, global job architecture and catalogue evolution, compensation framework updates) in line with the strategic direction.

  • Oversee continuous improvement of processes and systems to ensure efficiency, consistency, and scalability.


Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Degree in HR, Finance, Economics, or related field

  • Extensive experience in global compensation and reward (10+ years)

  • Deep expertise in job evaluation methodologies (Hay preferred)

  • Strong experience managing global reward cycles in a multinational environment

  • Advanced analytical and financial modelling capability

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Proven ability to operate in complex, global environments

  • Experience with HR systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion)
