Grower

Greeneration, the UAE-based FoodTech company, is seeking a Grower to join the Dubai team.

Greeneration produces rare crops and ingredients on a tech-driven vertical farm and develops innovative food products. Our target audience includes restaurants, hotels, private chefs, and retail chains.

Duties

• Movement of goods from the warehouse to the farm
• Plant care – Provide daily care to plants, ensuring optimal growth and health
• Perform regular plant trimming, harvesting, and sowing of new plants as per the production schedule
• Harvest microgreens, edible flowers, and other farm products according to quality standards
• Packaging of farm products to meet delivery requirements
• Filling out reporting documentation and ensuring accurate records of plant growth, harvesting, and inventory
• Maintain the farm in a clean, organized, and optimal condition, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Monitor growing processes and detect any plant development issues
• Ensure stock availability of consumables necessary for production
• Strict adherence to instructions and standard operating procedures
• Perform supervisor duties in their absence
• Work night shifts when required
• Be available to work late hours, especially during high-demand periods or critical growing phases
• Comfortable working at heights when required

• High flexibility, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Special education and experience working with plants are not mandatory but will be an advantage

Conditions:

• Monday - Saturday (can be modified) 6am-4pm, 1 hour lunch break
• Free accommodation and transportation
• Paid vacation (probation period also 6 month)
• Paid overtime work
