Growth & Content Marketing Specialist

Location: Remote / Hybrid
Role Type: Hourly Freelance Contractor (Long-term potential)

Compensation: Hourly rate to be agreed upon (paid monthly based on approved hours)

Working Hours and Availability

  • This is an hourly freelance role based in India
  • Primary working hours are expected between 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM IST
  • Mandatory daily overlap hours are 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM IST, Monday–Friday
  • The freelancer must be available and responsive during overlap hours for reviews, decisions, and collaboration
  • Remaining work hours must be completed during the same workday
  • Total weekly commitment is 40 hours (overtime of 10-20 hours may be required based on project deliverables)
  • Hours must be logged daily and submitted via a bi-weekly worksheet

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Growth & Content Marketing Specialist to own traffic, engagement, and conversion across our digital channels. This role blends performance marketing, content creation, conversion optimization, SEO, and analytics.

You will be responsible for turning attention into website traffic, traffic into leads, and leads into customers. This is a high-ownership, execution-heavy role suited for someone who thrives in early-stage startups, works with minimal supervision, and enjoys shipping, testing, and iterating quickly.

As part of the founding team, you will gain first-hand exposure to how a consumer wellness brand is built and scaled, from manufacturing to marketing to revenue growth.

Core Responsibilities:

Growth and Performance Marketing

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns on Meta, Google, and TikTok
  • Own the full funnel from awareness to conversion and retargeting
  • Run A/B tests on ad creatives, audiences, landing pages, and CTAs
  • Monitor and optimize key metrics including CTR, CPC, ROAS, CAC, and conversion rate

Content Creation and Social Media

  • Create and publish 4–5 content pieces per week (reels, short-form videos, carousels, static posts)
  • Edit conversion-focused short-form videos using CapCut, Canva, or Adobe tools
  • Repurpose content for ads, newsletters, landing pages, and blogs
  • Engage daily with relevant social media accounts, comments, and DMs
  • Schedule posts on social media channels (Insta, Facebook, Tiktok, LinkedIn, Youtube, Reddit, etc.)

Website, Landing Pages, and Conversion Optimization

  • Build and optimize landing pages within Shopify
  • Improve product pages, CTAs, and checkout flow
  • Analyze user behavior and iterate to improve conversion rates

Email Marketing and SEO

  • Create and manage 1 newsletter per week
  • A/B test subject lines, CTAs, and email formats
  • Write SEO-optimized wellness articles to drive organic traffic
  • Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO improvements

Influencer and Partnership Support

  • Identify and collaborate with micro- and mid-tier influencers
  • Support influencer outreach, coordination, and performance tracking
  • Assist with digital amplification of gym events, pop-ups, and partnerships

Key Deliverables (Baseline Expectations)

Weekly Deliverables

  • 4–5 social media posts published
  • At least 2 short-form videos created or edited
  • 1 A/B test launched (ads, creatives, or landing pages)
  • Active community engagement and account interaction
  • Weekly summary outlining work completed, results, and next steps

Monthly Deliverables

  • 1 new or optimized Shopify landing page
  • 4 newsletters sent
  • 1–2 SEO wellness articles published
  • Ongoing influencer outreach and collaboration updates
  • Monthly performance report with insights and improvement plan

Performance Metrics

  • Website traffic growth by channel
  • CTR and CPC on paid and organic content
  • Conversion rate on landing pages and product pages
  • Email open rates, click-through rates, and conversions
  • Engagement rate and follower growth across social platforms
  • Quality, consistency, and timeliness of deliverables

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in growth marketing, digital marketing, or content marketing
  • Experience with DTC, e-commerce, wellness, or consumer brands preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently

Tools and Platforms

  • Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads
  • Shopify, Klaviyo, or Mailchimp
  • Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Google Analytics (GA4), UTM tracking tools
  • AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Runway for ideation and efficiency
