Job Purpose:
To carry out installation, fitting, jointing, and repair works of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) piping systems according to project specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric sketches, and layout plans for GRP pipeline installation.
- Prepare and align GRP pipes, fittings, and accessories before jointing.
- Perform lamination, butt & socket jointing, and coupling installation as per manufacturer’s procedure.
- Ensure pipe cutting, grinding, and surface preparation are done to required tolerances.
- Conduct hydrostatic and pneumatic testing under supervision after installation.
- Repair leaks, cracks, or damages in GRP pipelines as instructed.
- Ensure proper support installation, alignment, and slope of pipelines.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations and site safety procedures.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to ensure smooth site progress.
- Record completed work and report daily activities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a GRP Pipe Fitter in industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of GRP materials, fittings, lamination procedures, and jointing techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work independently.
- Familiarity with hand tools, cutting and grinding machines, and lamination tools.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to GRP work.

Work Environment:
