Job Description


The Guest Experience Host/Receptionist efficiently manages hotel reservations using systems like Opera, demonstrating expertise in PMS and OTA platforms. This role requires exceptional organizational skills to coordinate bookings, handle emails and phone communication, ensuring a seamless guest experience. Key role in optimizing room occupancy, providing excellent customer service, and collaborating with various departments to meet guest needs.

Responsibilities


Reservation Management:


  • Process Hotel reservations accurately and efficiently via telephone, email and/or in person in a friendly and professional manner following Scorpios’ brand standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless coordination of guest services.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest information.

Customer Interaction:


  • Provide information about Hotel services, responding to inquiries and special requests.

Sales and Upselling:


Contribute to revenue growth by meeting or exceeding upselling targets.


Requirements


  • Proficient in hotel reservation systems (e.g., Opera) and OTA platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills for effective booking management.
  • Excellent communication abilities for guest interactions via email and phone.
  • Collaborative mindset to work across departments for guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledgeable in PMS (Property Management System).
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on optimizing room occupancy.
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Flexibility during peak operational periods
