Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, offers 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites, six private pool villas, and 161 fully furnished serviced apartments featuring a one-kilometre private beach which blends modern Arabic design with exceptional comfort.

Job Role

As a Guest Relations Officer, you are responsible for ensuring a personalized and exceptional experience for all guests throughout their stay. You will handle special requests, resolve concerns, and build strong guest relationships to enhance satisfaction and loyalty. The role focuses on delivering high service standards, proactive guest engagement, and maintaining smooth communication between guests and within departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome VIP and regular guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and ensure a smooth arrival experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly, ensuring effective solutions and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with various hotel departments to arrange special amenities, room preferences, and guest services.
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and ensure preferences are updated for future stays.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, conduct courtesy calls, and actively promote hotel facilities and services.

About You

  • Positive personality with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage confidently with guests.
  • High level of emotional intelligence and guest empathy.
  • Attention to detail, especially with guest preferences and follow-up.
  • Calm, composed, and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions points.
  • 2-3 years’ hotel experience in a similar capacity.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management is required.
