Guest Room Management System Technician / Engineer

We are looking for a skilled GRMS Technician/Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Guest Room Management Systems in hotel environments. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper operation of automated room systems including lighting, HVAC, curtain controls, and other related services to enhance guest comfort and improve energy efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• System Maintenance & Operation: Daily monitoring, maintenance, and repair of GRMS components, controllers, and field devices (sensors, switches).
• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving issues with hardware, firmware, and network connectivity in guest rooms.
• Programming & Configuration: Configuring guest room control logic, such as DND (Do Not Disturb), MUR (Make Up Room), and occupancy-based energy-saving modes.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conducting scheduled checks on room controllers, HVAC interfaces, and lighting circuits.
• System Integration: Ensuring seamless communication between the GRMS and other systems, such as the Building Management System (BMS) and Property Management System (PMS).
• Documentation: Maintaining logs of repairs, maintenance activities, and system programming files for room types.
• Guest Service Support: Responding to guest calls regarding in-room technology issues promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

• A Diploma or ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Low Current Systems or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Min 3 - 5 years experience in similar roles with GRMS systems, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of systems such as INTEREL, INNCOM, SYSTEMTEQ
• Basic understanding of networking and low-voltage systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
