Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team at Four Points. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to handle various guest inquiries efficiently. This position will also be utilized in Food and Beverage Operations
Duties
- Welcome guests upon arrival and provide a friendly and professional check-in experience.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using hotel management software.
- Answer phone calls promptly and assist guests with inquiries regarding accommodations, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Perform night audit duties as required, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, policies, and local events to provide accurate information to guests.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences throughout their stay.
- Assist in maintaining the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
- Attend to guest Food and Beverage requests such as tending the bar or assist in creating dishes in the kitchen.
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons
- Cleaning glasses and bar utensils
- Balancing cash receipts to record sales
- Maintaining a well-stocked bar inventory by monitoring stocks of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies
- Maintaining the bar hygienic
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest relations role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with phone systems and hotel management software is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to accommodate a variety of guests.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of resort operations and amenities is a plus.
