We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team at the Hampton Inn by Hilton - Commack, NY. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role is vital in creating memorable experiences for our guests at our hotel.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
- Manage front desk operations, including check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
- Utilize phone systems to assist guests with reservations and information requests.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities.
- Assist in managing reservations through various platforms as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is highly desirable.
- Strong phone etiquette skills to effectively communicate with guests over the phone.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Proficiency in using computer systems
