Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Representative to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, managing front desk operations, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of hospitality management, and the ability to handle guest inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Bilingual abilities and experience in hotel management are highly desirable to enhance guest relations and overall service quality.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to guests
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms meet quality standards
- Process payments accurately and handle cash or credit transactions securely
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests over the phone or in person
- Assist with night audit procedures as needed to ensure smooth overnight operations
- Support other front desk duties as required in a fast-paced resort environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel management, front desk operations, or guest services preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Multilingual or bilingual proficiency is highly advantageous for serving a diverse clientele
- Knowledge of hospitality management systems and multi-line phone systems is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Experience in resort or hotel environments is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage guest relations effectively and resolve conflicts diplomatically
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
