Guest Services Representative

The Home2 Suites Taylor, Michigan is looking for outgoing and friendly faces to fulfill the Guest Service Representative positions. Being in guest services, you are responsible for the entire guest experience and can potentially impact the entire brand! Your genuine warmth and helpful nature enable you to rise to every occasion from cheerfully greeting the weary traveler to welcoming a family on a weekend adventure. Working at Home2 Suites, you will have many opportunities to brighten someone’s day!

As a Guest Services Representative you will:

• Have fun with our guests!
• Provide that vital first impression to our guests.
• Welcome and serve guests in person and over the phone.
• Solve problems or guest concerns in a timely manner.
• Be comfortable using a computer to check guests in and out, while handling cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit. Treat others with respect regardless of their status or position.
• Effectively communicate with all departments of the hotel.
• Follow policies and procedures provided by Hilton and the management team.
• Present ideas, concepts, and information effectively and clearly.
• Accurately listen and communicate well to various audiences as well as responding effectively to questions.
• Making reservations accurately, while delivering the true Hilton experience over the phone and in person.
• Follow safety and security policies.
• Able to lift/move up to 50lbs.
• Run and review daily reports to ensure each shift is set up for success.
• Dependability! - Follow instructions given by management, complete tasks on time, consistently at work and on time for scheduled shifts, and able to meet the demands of the industry in regard to holidays, weekends, morning, and evening shifts.
• Cross-training in other departments such as housekeeping and maintenance and to be able to help our guests effectively and efficiently.
• Complete tasks assigned to you by your direct supervisor and General Manager.
