Guitar Instructor

We are seeking a warm, patient, and enthusiastic Guitar Instructor to teach private and group lessons at our music school. This role is especially well suited for someone who enjoys working with young beginners and helping new students feel confident and excited about learning music.

You do not need to be an advanced performer to be successful in this role. We are looking for someone who can make guitar fun, approachable, and engaging for students who are just starting out.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and group guitar lessons for beginners and developing students
• Create a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
• Adapt lessons to different ages, especially younger students
• Communicate student progress with parents
• Help students build confidence, consistency, and basic skills

Requirements

• Experience teaching music or working with children in any setting such as tutoring, babysitting, camp counseling, or similar
• Guitar experience required, but teaching experience can be at any level
• Patient, friendly, and encouraging communication style
• Ability to work well with beginners and young learners

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $33.00 - $40.00 per hour
