GUI/UX Design Intern

Role & Responsibilities

• Design clean, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces for mobile and web applications.
• Translate requirements and wireframes into high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
• Work on design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency.
• Conduct usability reviews and iterate based on feedback to improve user experience.
• Use tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD to create interactive designs and prototypes.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Background in UI/UX design, HCI, or Visual Design (academic or practical).
• Hands-on experience designing mobile (Android/iOS) and web-based applications.
• Proficiency with Figma (mandatory) and familiarity with other design tools (Sketch, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive design practices.
• Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and an eye for modern design trends.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS basics or collaboration with frontend developers.
• Exposure to usability testing and user research methodologies.
• Prior experience working in Agile/Startup environments.
