Gujarati Teacher

Job Title: Gujarati TeacherDepartment: AcademicsReports To: Head of Department / PrincipalJob Summary:

The Gujarati Teacher is responsible for teaching the Gujarati language, literature, and grammar, and for developing students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills as per the prescribed curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Gujarati language, grammar, and literature as per syllabus
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids
• Develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills
• Conduct classwork, homework, tests, and examinations
• Evaluate and maintain student performance records
• Encourage correct pronunciation, handwriting, and vocabulary usage
• Promote cultural values through Gujarati literature and activities
• Provide remedial support to slow learners
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Communicate with parents regarding student progress
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and training programs
• Follow school policies and academic calendar

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation/Post Graduation in Gujarati
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification (as per school norms)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong command over Gujarati language
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to make language learning engaging
• Patience and student-centered approach
• Basic computer skills for teaching and documentation

Experience:

• Fresher or experienced candidates may apply

Working Hours:

• As per school schedule

Salary:

• As per school norms and experience

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
