Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe environment for users and protect the gym from property damage.
  • Monitor the use of equipment.
  • Report any equipment defects to supervisor.
  • Prepare basics pre-workout, protein shakes and any supplements required.
  • Carry out routine maintenance of equipment and ensure they are safe to use.
  • Ensure equipment is returned to its rightful place.
  • Ensure equipment does not leave the facility and report any missing equipment.
  • Regularly replenish supplies in facility, e.g., water, towels, energy drinks, etc.
  • Ensure all the weights are safely and appropriately placed and properly used.
  • Clean equipment with disinfectant as and when required.
  • Carry out any related activities upon request by Supervisor.
  • Ensure all electrical appliances are switched off if needed at the conclusion of gym session.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:

o Secondary education is required.

o At least 2 years of working experience in a recreational, physical fitness and customer service.

o Training in fitness, logistical support, and/or health related matters.

o First Aid Accreditation is an advantage.

o Experience in assembly of gym equipment.

o Excellent interpersonal skills.

o Effective communication skills.

o Organisation skills.

o Fluent English. Arabic is a plus.

o MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is a plus.
